In my opinion DigitalPoint Forums have only ever been good for one thing and that is strong Signature Links and the fact that you can buy and sell links on other people’s signatures, giving you thousands of backlinks overnight.
This has helped me in the past when launching my sites and proved to give a fair bit of direct traffic too.
Without warning or explanation they have cut the number of links allowed in a Signature from 4 to 2, and have at will just removed two links. PLEASE CHECK YOURS AND ANY YOU MAY HAVE BOUGHT.
Guess what? If you PAY to be a PREMIUM member, then you can have 4 links in your signature again! SCAM! Shawn sees that money is being made from the signatures and wants a slice of the pie.
And then Shawn Hogan (owner) says
“this will never be a paid only forum. “Normal” users still have all the same permissions/rights as they have always had, with the exception of 2 links in their signatures”
What a moron! Anyway, back to work.

But, it does not provide me any change as I already have 2 links and am not going to sell or stuff in links.
