Make Affiliate Money

I have been focusing on improving some existing sites as I said I would in my 2010 Affiliate Marketing Goals and it has paid off, the last week has seen a big change in fortune.

The bonus is that they are not coming from just one site, but 5 or 6 different ones meaning that I am less reliant on the fortunes of one source of income.

I am currently considering my offline options and wondering if there is money to be made coaching people to do affiliate marketing, Anyone have any comments on this?

I was watching the BBC News this evening and there was a report on people who have either been forced to or chosen to take on a second job/income to beat the recession.  Instead of the regular view of second incomes, like bar work, shelf stacking or similar evening activities the report was all about people making money on the internet.  The report mentioned a phrase I had never heard of before calling people making a second income after working a day job, FIVE-TO-NINERS.  I naturally went and bought www.five-to-nine.co.uk with the intention of creating a separate site to this blog giving a wider range of ideas for those wanting to earn a second living either online or offline.

The second part of the news article referred to a website called peopleperhour.com which is a site putting

“freelancers” in touch with a variety of jobs/projects placed by “employers”.  How it works is shown here http://www.peopleperhour.com/howitworks.php

For some time now I have realised that DigitalPoint Forums are only good for two things, backlinks and cheap content writers, and I had to think hard to think of the second!

DP forums are full of newbies from far flung places asking stupid questions like “How can I make a million dollars in 1 week?” “How much money are you making?” “I haven’t made any money from Clickbank, I have done nothing and it’s been a week now, what am I doing wrong?” – OK so I am paraphrasing!

The other thing DP is full of scammers, whether it be people using “modified” clickbank screenshots, “gurus” taking hundreds if not thousands of dollars from unsuspecting “newbies” desperate to make money online or new Clickbank Publishers blatently copying other successful Publishers products entirely including the sales page!

I thought I should start responding to several queries I have recieved at many different forums I am active on such as digitalpoint.com, nichechoppers.com, warriorforum.com about how I have become a successful Affiliate, making a very reasonable second income.

I will share my ongoing experiences in the World of Affiliate Marketing, whilst referring to past experiences and reviewing products that will assist in making more cash.

I must say, I don’t consider myself to be a Guru at all, I am just a normal guy with a regular 9-5 job who has the drive and desire to make more money. The internet, and affiliate marketing in particular, is the easiest and quickest way I know how.

Don’t get me wrong, I have not been an overnight success, I have been making money on the internet for over 2 years now, but only recently started making the sort of profit that really makes a difference to my life.  I will try and help you avoid the mistakes I made along the way to redcue that learning curve.
